Evaluation of power point presentation (Language issues)

I really enjoyed the lesson when we used power point in our language lesson. Working in groups to present a power point presentation related to our set work, Cry the Beloved Country, really taught me a lot. It taught me how to communicate with others and accept their views as well, how to use power point. We had to read the book in order to link incidents from the book to our topics. We also had to use the internet to gather information. Most importantly what I learnt was language issues. We learnt language differently compared to our old ways of learning it from a worksheet. We were now learning it from each other and by using the computer (power point). Infect, this way is more enjoyable and we remember what we learn since we are not just reading it monotonously from a worksheet. Technology is not only available to make our lives easier but also to make our learning easier and interesting.

I am glad that you understood the work in the way that you did. You see, work of this nature can only happen with pupils like yourself who are willing to participate creatively in all the lessons. This makes each lesson worthwhile. It would be interesting to know what other schools are doing in terms of using ICT (Integrated/Information Computer technology) in the classroom. Perhaps you can do that 'asking' around.
Thanks for the wonderful work!
